LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD COMMUNITY FORUM RECAP 05/21/2017
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this recap of our last forum and upcoming events. We have decided to compile our recaps differently now and include it with the newsletter all in one package to make it simpler. We have been continuously adding innovative programs to the monthly flow of events and implementing new strategies that are cultivated in the forums.
Our last Let Your Voice Be Heard Community Forum took place 05/21/2017 at Global Dynasty Corps (6250 Edgewater Dr. Orlando, FL) and we could start our new flow of forums in which we speak for 30-45 minutes on the events we are working on continually and then we went straight into the open floor and decided new focuses to attack. This will be the flow of the forums so that we can ensure everyone has a chance to speak and provide their input and we can focus more on everyone’s input as opposed to just advising the attendants what programs we are working on.
Our next Let Your Voice Be Heard Community Forum will take place June 28th, 2017 at Three Masks, Inc. 1023 W. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Moving forward we have been gearing up for our July 8th, Central Florida Community Care Fair with Mook Boy and other artists LIVE at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. This event will double as an expo and a place for vendors, workshops and the family to attend. We have included more information about this event in the breakdown of upcoming events portion.
We also will be gearing up with more community walks such as the Community Peace Walk taking place on July 1st, 2017 in the Pine Hills Neighborhood. With the summer, here we will be more active in the neighborhoods and holding many outings that will take place outside of the pace walks, we will be using the email system to inform everyone about where we’ll be meeting. Also, we will have more details on our youth mentoring events taking place this summer shortly. Our first meeting was last year in July of 2016 and this year we will be doing something special to memorialize this milestone.
